We arent asking for anything nearly that complicated. Add a white skin , a red collar and bells to an existing model. A reskined pet delaying GW2? pff. Thats rediculous.
I feel that after buying ALOT of costumes recently, asking for a simple reskin is a drop in the bucket compared to a new set of costumes. And can be done with minimal effort.
I vote for a Jingle Raven. At least it would explain where the White Raven got its start.

i don't see the reason why people voting NO, wouldn't want pets. Its free, wouldn't cost anything. Even if its implemented, it wouldn't influence them. If they want it, they can just go capture it, if they don't want it, than just leave it there. Why bother voting NO

There's no reason to vote No. More than anything, everyone who voted No most likely fall under the "I don't care" category.
You mean to tell me that just because you wouldn't use it, you think it should not be put in the game at all? Thats what voting No says.
If anything, voting No is "anyone who doesn't agree with or think exactly the same way you do doesn't deserve to have anything in the game."

I voted no because I would rather see ArenaNet spending their time on things that are actually useful

I believe the "original" jingle moa was also used in one of the Elona Wintersday quests.
Following the trend, if they are going to do a new one this year the most logical route to go would be the reindeer. They've already got a "jingle" model and skin, probably all they'd need would be some animations that they likely lack currently.
All that said though, I don't particularly care if we get a new one or not. As you said not many people use pets even after the pet update a while back. So the pets just end up being like the candy weapons, cute festive items that you forget about for the other 11 months of the year.

People could have many reasons to vote no, you saying they have no reason says a lot about how you think, not in how others do.
I said nothing about how I voted or if I even did so it's a pretty wild jump to toss up your " " with in inacurate quote of what I mentioned in an earlier post as an attempt to know where I stand but you seem to believe you know other peoples motives already so it's not completely surprising.
I merely mentioned that it's interesting seeing the mindset that anyone not agreeing with you was doing it just to be mean.

Never said anything personal about how you voted. In my post the word "you" was to people in general.

was not quoting you. Was setting a mind-set.
A bit presumptuous to think the whole post was about yourself...

The original Moa in the Kamadan Wintersday quest is a dancing moa, not a jingle moa.

Here is where we differ, in my world words mean things.
When I use the word "you" for instance I am referring to you, not some random group of unknown people, for them I would use the term random group of unknown people, for people in general I would probably go with something along the lines of people in general but thats just me.
was not quoting me? the use of " " with the exact words I used as well as a few you added towards the end in the post of mine that you quoted must have confused me on that part.
"presumptuous" ?
how ever could I get the idea you were talking to me when you quoted a post of mine {commonly reffered to as "reply"} as well as misquoted statements of mine in that same "reply"
anyway I'm bored with you now and shall move along, have a nice day!

i voted for "yes"
i got all ranger pets in GW charmed (without pet unlock pack)
also, the "they should use their time on GW2" reactions kinda say more like "let em do nothing about GW1, just cuz i dont need anything" IMO
if you think GW is good as it is, why do you still play, if you did everything up until now?
/endofftopicrant
sure, more pets would be cool, we have a menagerie for a reason: ranger pets
so lets use it some more, cant hurt anyone, it'd be a bit of work (at least way less than the upcoming contents) so it wouldnt hurt us, anet or any game they have (GW and GW2 in this case), and new stuff always make people happy
anyway, i'd like to train another pet to unlock it with hearty (which i always use)
what kind... hmmmm, maybe jingle rat, widow or pig those would be funny
make of it whatever you want, i like the idea

If there is no jingle pet this year, it better because they are working on a MiniPet Battle Arena where we fight with minis.

I guess the NO vote comes about because players generally do not want to have the team working on anything that isn't needed or important.
If we drop all the trivial stuff then the Dervish mod could come in a couple of hours earlier.

Ha! I'm seeing some suggestions for pets that crossed my mind -- jingle rat, jingle crab!
But I am So. On. Board. for jingle reindeer. I don't care if they attack or not, they are the cutest things ever and I mostly only do the Wintersday quests to see them. I'm glad I voted Yes before the "Meh" option was added.
